The new Balenciaga distressed sneakers campaign featured horrific looking sneakers with dirt, huge marks and a price tag on the sneakers that wasn’t smiling, as a pair of the extremely worn sneakers is being sold for $1850 and the normal looking sneakers will be sold at $625.
The marketing team of the brand revealed their reason for the campaign that sparked lots of conversation, which was actually the goal, the distressed sneakers just implies that the Paris Sneakers could be worn for a lifetime. The head of editorial content at GQ France also revealed the clear message of the sneakers campaign which meant “Buy and Wear Forever”.
Are these sneakers worth breaking the bank for? Well, it isn’t up to us, as some fans have started to show interest in the sneakers. Even though some sneakerheads have disagreed with putting these sneakers in style, this however might not affect the sneakers rating.
