Design and Specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Series Leaked Ahead of the Official Launch

The Samsung Galaxy S22 series will be released next week, bringing the company’s newest flagship phones to market. Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra are all part of the Galaxy line. Previous leaks and reports have given smartphone fans a good sense of what to expect from Samsung’s new Galaxy S22 series. Official photos of the phone series, as well as complete specifications, have been leaked online ahead of the smartphone’s February 9 launch.

Evan Blass, a well-known source, leaked images of the next Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra, which GSMArena posted. Images of the smartphones, as well as their dimensions and screen sizes, appear to have been obtained from the official Samsung Italy website. The display specifications for all three devices, as well as the CPU, camera, and charging parameters, are all shown in the leaked photographs.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 series will be powered by the 4nm Exynos 2200 SoC, as well as the company’s Xclipse GPU based on AMD RDNA 2 architecture, according to the leaked photos. In some markets, the Galaxy S22 series is expected to include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. According to the leaked photos, the Samsung Galaxy S22 will allow 25W charging, while the Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra will support 45W charging.

Display

According to the leaked pictures, the Samsung Galaxy S22 will have a 6.1-inch display, while the Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra would have 6.6-inch and 6.8-inch displays, respectively. Dynamic AMOLED 2X panels with a refresh rate of 120Hz will be found on all three Galaxy S22 devices. The display on the Galaxy S22 Ultra is said to have a peak brightness of 1,750 nits, whereas the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ have a lesser peak brightness of 1,300 nits.

Camera

The Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ will include a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 30x Space Zoom on the camera front. Meanwhile, the flagship Galaxy S21 model Ultra will have a 108-megapixel primary camera, as well as a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 10-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 10-megapixel periscope camera with 100x Space Zoom. The Galaxy S22 Ultra will include a 40-megapixel front-facing camera, while the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ will have 10-megapixel front-facing cameras.
