Premier League teams are drawn to Yannick Carrasco €30 million price tag

This week, a number of Atletico Madrid players, notably Matheus Cunha and Joao Felix, have been connected to Manchester United. The rumors implicating Yannick Carrasco, though, are rather different.

For Atletico Madrid’s most recent title-winning campaign, the Belgian winger returned, and he quickly established himself as a crucial component of Diego Simeone’s new system with three central defenders.

According to Diario AS and The Telegraph in England, Los Rojiblancos would take a €30 million bid for Carrasco. This contrasts with the earlier reports by Felix and Cunha, both of which included significantly greater numbers and were ostensibly discarded shortly after. The Carrasco report also originates in London rather than Madrid, according to the English press.

Even though it might be a profitable transaction, Simeone’s position would undoubtedly suffer. Despite not beginning the season opener against Getafe, Carrasco has consistently shown himself to be an important player over the past two years.
