TEMS BAGS ANOTHER ONE AT THE BET HIP-HOP AWARDS FOR BEST COLLABORATION
Afrobeats sensation, Tems has won Best collaboration at the 2022 BET HIP-HOP awards for her contribution on Future’s “Wait For U” featuring Drake. This collaboration edged out all other players in the category, from Kendrick Lamar to Cardi B, Kanye West, J Cole, and others, Future, Tems and Drake came out on top. Tems who got nominated in three different categories at the event namely- Song of the Year, Best Collaboration, and Best Hip Hop Video, took home just one of the listed awards, adding to her long list of wins for 2022.
Other African artists such as Burna Boy, Black Sheriff, Nadia Nakia, and others, also scored nominations at the event but lost to other artists in their various categories.
