The Ebony Power 100 Gala which celebrates black culture, and trailblazers within the black community, is back once more to shine it’s light on some of the stars pushing boundaries, redefining the norms, and moving black forward in their various industries.
The Gala night is also dedicated to individuals in various professions and crafts such as technology, science, entertainment, sports, activism, and Business. The Gala organizers released its official list of 100 honorees on Wednesday 12th of October. The list featured Nigeria’s very own Tems, the most followed person on Tik Tok, Khaby Lame, Elsa Majimbo, Usher, Saucy Santana, H.E.R, Jackie Aina, Ciara, and others.
“The EBONY Power 100 Gala is one of our tentpole events,” said Eden Bridgeman Sklenar, EBONY Media Group chief executive officer in a release. “This year’s list represents the best and brightest across fields, and we are proud to celebrate and salute each of our honorees who we recognize as influential members of the community based on their impactful contributions to the culture and society at large.”
The annual star studded gala will be taking place at the Milk Studios in Los Angeles on the 29th of October 2022. Emmy Award nominee Amber Ruffin is set to host this year’s event.
