They say good things come to those who wait and that is certainly the case in this round of fixtures in the FA Cup as we have a blockbuster match coming up tonight between United and Chelsea .

Sit back , relax and enjoy our preview.

The Blues view :

It’s another season , its another manager under pressure. We find ourselves in a cycle as Chelsea fans.  Coming from beautiful start to the season and now Chelsea’s currently have been struggling lately to string W’s together. Dropping from 4th to 6th in a space of 90 min. Getting beat by the blue side of Manchester , the shark team eat almost everyone up but to be hammered 6 without a reply , that’s simply shocking and far below par for the Chelsea supporters and of course the owner,

Back to managers, Sarri coming from Italy with a very distinctive style of football which he deployed with Napoli to a very devastating effect, although never winning any medals. His style is attractive and attacking!  Just what Chelsea fans have seemed to have been crying out for the longest time. Seen as they grew sick of  Conte and his defensive tactics.

Sarri ball seemed to have been the solution during the good times of winnings. I have to admit Chelsea have been so good whenever they click with Sarris vision. From defense to the midfield to the attack, a proper unit slicing apart teams. Sadly on the days , they have done poorly , my goodness , its so abysmal. They look so clueless.

EUROPA ?  It’s looking good, they are yet to be tested properly.

English Prem.. Top 4 ?  Unless the teams above them drop form. It will be a struggle and would be very tight. City and Liverpool already seem top 2 by a long mile. Spurs are right behind, United follow. The gunners are just outside the club tied  with Chelsea. BUT it’s the prem. ANYTHING is possible. We have to wait to see what happens as the season goes on.

THE FA CUP : Facing Manchester United who are coming  from an L while also losing of Martial and Jlingz to injuries. United have been brought back to ground by PSG. This could go either way for the blues, the loss gets to United’s heads and they loss again OR it sparks a bigger bang firing them up again!

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s honeymoon period was over last Tuesday as his team was brought back down to earth by a weakened PSG side in the UCL . The truth is that he was tactically outclassed for the first time in 11 matches. Pogba was man marked and frustrated hence the red card in the latter stages as Thomas Tuchel cut the supply lines for Manchester United and left danger man Rashford to be chasing shadows. However there is no time to feel sorry as an immediate opportunity to redeem himself and shut the doubters up presents itself in the FA Cup on Monday evening.

With the defeat to PSG. Those in the Red Devils camp barring a miracle in the second leg now know that the FA CUP is the only realistic shot of silverware this season and many expect United to go all the way. Up comes Chelsea who have gone through a torrid time losing 6-0 in the EPL to city and just coming through a 2-1 Europa League victory against minnows Malmo. Confidence is low in the camp of the blues and United have to take advantage of that now .The last time this two met in the FA Cup was in the final last season and Chelsea was victorious. Solskjaer has done a great job bringing United into the top 4 when all Hope seemed lost but however while he knows he’s in an audition to get the job on a permanent basis, winning the FA cup will all but seal his appointment.

With Martial and Lingard injured, it is important to see how Ole is going to tactically set up. Those two are key with their pace and will be missed as Ole has ruled them out for a week or two. However the major players under Solskjaer’s regime have been Pogba and Rashford and they will need to step up here. Hazard remains the danger man for Chelsea and scored in the final last season. Chelsea will once again look towards him to bring the inspiration.
