Visa Free countries where Nigerians can spend their holiday

Being able to travel visa free or visa on arrival is a dream for most Nigerians who want to explore, travel and see the world. The Nigerian passport is one of the weakest in the world, only granting Nigerians easy visa-less access to only a handful of countries. That’s why it’s important that one knows which countries are visa free for Nigerians.

According to the Henley Passport Index, Nigerian citizens had visa free or visa-on-arrival access to 45 countries and territories as of 2 July 2021, putting the Nigerian passport 98th in terms of travel freedom.

Where visa free travel is granted, it is not always a right, and admittance is at the discretion of border patrol personnel. A visa or work permit may be required for visitors engaged in activities other than tourism, such as unpaid labour.

But as a typical Nigerians, we would not let these encumbrances stand in the way of our sunshine-blue seas-vacation plans. These are the countries where Nigerians can go vacation visa free.
