A tragic shooting incident involving Lil Tjay, a skilled and well-known rapper from the Bronx, broke in the US on Wednesday. He was shot numerous times along the Promenade in Edgewater early in the morning.
Lil Tjay was reportedly with Antoine Boyd, 22, and Jeffrey Valdez, 24, as well as 2 other individuals. Around midnight, the police arrived at the scene. While he received several gunshot wounds, Antoine only received one.
Tione Marriot, better known by his stage name as Lil TJay, was shot many times when the police came. They hurried both victims to a nearby hospital shortly after. Lil TJay had to have emergency surgery, according to TMZ, even though the official withheld any information regarding their condition.
According to authorities, Mohamed Konate attempted to rob Lil TJay, a rapper who is 21 years old, as well as his companions Antoine Boyd and Jeffrey Valdez. Antoine and Jeffrey were discovered to have each had a prohibited weapon at the time of the attempted robbery.
On the following day, Konate was taken into custody by investigators from the New York Police Department and the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office. Konate’s extradition to New Jersey is now pending, according to the authorities.
He was accused by the police of three charges of attempted murder, two counts of illegally possessing a firearm, three crimes of armed robbery, and one count of aggravated assault in the fourth degree.
