KIM KARDASHIAN, NAOMI CAMPBELL AND OTHERS MAKE SPECIAL APPEARANCE AT THE 2022 BALENCIAGA COUTURE SHOW

Creative director of Balenciaga, Demna Gvasalisa known for his bold choices and statements during fashion weeks, displayed a little bit of surprise for his audience as he had some of his muses walk the runway showcasing their 2022 collection at the Balenciaga couture show. Celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Nicole Kidman, Naomi Campbell, Dua Lipa and Bella Hadid all graced the runway in stunning couture looks. 

This is his second couture collection with Balenciaga since becoming the creative director of the brand. Asides the star studded runway show, the audience was also packed with A list stars, with the front row featuring guests like Kris Jenner, North West, Alexa Demie, Offset and others.  

With the collection showcasing over 50 looks, Demna created similar monochromatic looks mimicking Kim Kardashian’s head to toe Balenciaga outfit from the 2020 Met Gala. She also walked the show in a monochromatic body sculpting sweetheart-neckline top, gloves and a skirt with train, which has been her signature look in public settings since her close association with the brand. 

Naomi Campbell walked the runway in a cone-like extensive black ball gown, while Bella Hadid graced the runway in a voluminous green satin ball gown.

Nicole Kidman was seen in light reflecting silver dress complemented with a long train and award winning Pop Star, Dua Lipa, strutted down the runway in a little bright yellow dress also featuring a lengthy train, black leggings and gloves.

At this point it’s safe to say everything Demna has done since taking over Balenciaga as the creative director has been a hit and will continue to dominate headlines.
