NIGERIAN PASTORS MAKING A STATEMENT IN THE FASHION WORLD

Over the years, there has been an ideology of what pastors should look like; Big suits, fat ties and all that “pastor-like” ‘fits. 

This has changed in recent times, as clergy men have become more dynamic with their style and how they appear in church and public spaces. This is a lovely sight to behold, as it has encouraged members of the congregation to up their fashion game and has changed the mindset of a lot of people towards fashion and religion. 

Although, this sometimes comes with some backlash from the “holier than thou” set but we know better. 

In this article, we chose to highlight a few pastors who get it right with fashion. 

1. Pastor Emmanuel Iren 

Lead pastor Celebration Church International. This is currently one of the fastest growing churches in Nigeria. He definitely tops the list of stylish pastors. With his classy outfits, “Pastey”, as he’s fondly called matches his outfits with ease and charisma which is really beautiful to behold. 

2. Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo

This list cannot be complete without PB. PB is easily one of the most fashionable pastors in Nigeria. Over the years, he has proven that pastors can slay and he has stayed true to this by steady pulling up to every service in fire fits! He is the senior pastor of CommonWealth of Zion Assembly (COZA).

3. Pastor Paul Adefarasin

With his Simple yet very classy looks , you can tell that pastor Paul is a man of style. Pastor Paul is the senior pastor of House on the Rock Church and convener of the biggest gospel music concert in Africa- The Experience.

4. Pastor Ayo Oristejafor

Papa has proven to us that “Warri no dey carry last” even in fashion. Ayodele Joseph Oritsegbubemi Oritsejafor, known as Papa Ayo Oritsejafor, is the founding and Senior Pastor of Word of Life Bible Church, located in Warri, Nigeria.
