Superfly actor Kaalan Walker sentenced to 50 years in prison for rape

Kaalan Walker was found guilty of multiple counts of rape and given a sentence of 50 years to life in prison. Three of the seven victims of sexual abuse by the Los Angeles rapper who acted in the 2018 movie “SuperFly” were children. Since 2013, Kaalan Walker has also been listed as a sex offender

Kaalan Walker, 27, was also forced to register as a lifetime sex offender as a result of the string of crimes that began in 2013.

The performer was found guilty on April 18 by a Van Nuys jury of three counts of forceful rape, two counts of inappropriate sexual contact with a juvenile, two counts of raping a victim while intoxicated, and one count of assault with the intent to perform oral copulation.

According to press sources, Walker is a “real predator” because of the assaults he committed on young girls and teenagers between 2013 and 2018. This is according to Deputy District Attorney Cynthia Wallace.

Walker connected with his victims, who were mainly aspiring actors and models, on Twitter and Instagram and utilized those platforms to entice them to specific locations by claiming they had been booked for unrealized music video and photo shoots.

Instead, the prosecution claims that the artist sexually assaulted and raped the ladies and young girls.

Walker’s trial took place in March, and when the jury was told to stop deliberating, deputy district attorney Yasmin Fardghassemi allegedly responded, “He didn’t care.”

Walker’s lawyer said that his client did not exert any pressure on the females and young girls and that they were only seeking retaliation against him because of false statements he had made about music shoots and chances to interact with his famed and respected friends.

The accusations against the rapper, for which he was later found guilty, have been “a living nightmare” for him, according to his attorney Andrew Flier.

Walker, who previously starred with Halle Berry and Daniel Craig in the 2017 film “Kings,” was detained in September 2018 before being eventually freed on bond. Following his conviction, he was detained once more.
