120 children in Nigeria receive “life-changing procedures” thanks to Bukayo Saka

Bukayo Saka, an Arsenal winger, has funded “life-changing procedures” for 120 kids in Kano state.

The organization that teamed up with Saka to assist underprivileged children with medical procedures revealed the sponsorship in a tweet on Thursday. BigShoe.

The organization disclosed that the children underwent their operations at Kano’s Prime Specialist Hospital.

“Proud to announce our newest BigShoe family member: @BukayoSaka87 In front of the World Cup 2022 we’ve covered 120 life-changing surgeries for children in Kano, Nigeria. A big thank you to the doctors and team of the Prime Specialist Hospital,” the tweet reads.

Bukayo Saka said he is always happy to assist children who are struggling to realize their dreams.

“For me, every child has the same opportunity to achieve their dreams and if I can really do anything to help, it’s really important for me to do this,” he said.

“It makes me very happy, especially when I see the kids are happy, the parents are happy. I just want to do as much as I can.”

The 19-year-old acknowledged that he felt a connection to Nigeria even though he chose to represent England rather than Nigeria. He also thanked BigShoe for seeing to it that the project was realized.
