I can say we are going to home in on key relationships that convey different parts of his life.”

The story of Fashion Icon, Karl Lagerfeld who worked as the Creative director for several Fashion empires like, Fendi, Chanel, Jean Patou, Chloé, H&M, Falabella, Macy’s, and others will be told through individuals who worked closely with him and knew him best, as Karl Lagerfeld was an Unpredictable and Private man. Sabastien Jondeau who served as his bodyguard and personal assistant for over 20 years will executive produce the film, while Caroline Lebar who worked with Karl Lagerfeld as an advisor for his brands for over 38 years, will work closely with the filmmakers to give a more detailed view of Lagerfeld’s life.

Adding to his statement after House of Lagerfeld revealed him as star of the biopic, Leto added: “My role is to portray him on screen as honestly as possible.”

“Karl was a human being. We all have beauty within us and we all have faults. We have masks and then we have moments when we reveal the mask. I’m always interested in seeing what’s behind the mask,” he said.
