Don Jazzy introduces Bayanni as a new artist for Mavin Records

Don Jazzy, the CEO of Mavin Records, has introduced Bayanni as the newest artist to join the music record label. Michael Collins Ajereh is also known professionally as Don Jazzy.

On Tuesday, the music producer shared a video of the new act on his verified Twitter account. Popular skit performers Sabinus, Brainjotter, and the Mavin boss himself were all featured in the film that showcased some of the freestyles performed in the past by the new act.

“It’s that time again when we deliver to you another young talent from the Mavin Academy,” Don Jazzy captioned the announcement video. BAYANNI, please. He has had a number of turning points and is now prepared to be revealed to the world. Please welcome the newest MAVIN, @itsbayanni

In response to the warm welcome, the new artist Bayanni announced himself as the newest member of the Mavin family on Twitter and thanked Don Jazzy for the chance he had been given.

“Lonely nights, dark mornings, waiting for the sun to shine on me while posting my freestyles back in 2016. Then I got a DM in 2019 from someone I respect so much. @DONJAZZY  thank you for giving me this opportunity. Sit back, as I take you on this journey. I’m ready, ARE YOU?” He posted.

Following the news, multi-award-winning Afrobeats musician David Adeleke, also known as Davido, congratulated the newest Mavin signee on Twitter.

“So pleased for him…” Godspeed, Don Baba,” he wrote in his post.

Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) alumnus Bayanni will be joining the talented group of artists known as Mavin Music, which also includes Don Jazzy, Rema, Ayra Starr, Ladipoe, Crayon, Boy Spice, and Magixx.
