The young Afrobeats star, Fireboy, recently released his third studio album which received a lot of attention for its hit songs and major international features. The album quickly became a success, as songs on the album began climbing the Nigerian music charts.
The Playboy Album featured some outstanding international artists such as Chris Brown, Shenseea, Ed Sheeran and Euro. These collaborations paved way for the album in the U.S market, as he went on to sell 9,000 units in the U.S alone which earned him a spot at #129 on the Billboard 200 charts, making it Fireboy’s debut on the Billboard 200 charts.
The album also became Fireboy’s highest charting project on the Billboard World Album Charts as it debuted at No.4 on the chart. Fireboy choice of collaborations has yielded great success for him, as the album is also expected to move up the charts in the coming weeks.
