Following his threat to purchase Manchester United, Elon Musk breaks his silence

Even though Manchester United is not currently up for sale, the announcement made by Elon Musk that he was purchasing the team from the Glazer family sparked an outpouring of support from a huge number of fans.

The Glazers have been viewed as one of Manchester United’s main concerns for many years, and supporters want them to leave the team. They do not, however, have any justification for selling a service that brings in millions of dollars in profit annually.

In truth, the Glazers’ decision to sell the club would be rather foolish from an economic perspective. Musk, though, is currently the richest person alive and has the money to purchase not only Manchester United but the whole Premier League. Musk had to respond to this assertion eventually after seeing how his tweet set the world on fire. On Wednesday, he finally did through yet another tweet.

Does Elon Musk really want to buy Manchester United?

People who have followed Elon Musk throughout his career are aware of his propensity for making jokes on Twitter. His tweets and comments frequently contain jokes or memes. It would be wrong to take his word for this. He doesn’t have any experience managing a club the size of Manchester United, and he already has a lot on his plate.

Elon Musk has nevertheless indicated that he will not be purchasing Manchester United even with how poorly the squad is currently performing.

He openly admitted that he was merely joking. Many of his supporters who had truly brought into his quip received an answer that would hurt their hearts. At least his tweet gained attention, as usual, and Manchester United supporters were made fun of once more.
